Welcome to Dying to Stay Alive!
This site is designed as a platform for people interested in mental health to seek support and gain insight, written by a survivor of pharmaceutical harm and misdiagnosis, caused by narcissistic abuse and dismissive avoidance.
Tom Robinson is a former international event rider and Junior National and European Champion. He managed to compete for many years alongside his condition, and although still involved in equestrianism, now writes and blogs around the subject of mental illness.
Tom also reads extensively, especially around the subject of mental wellness, has an NCTJ qualification, a distinction in copy editing & proofreading, has studied both psychology & NLP, and also enjoys learning French in his spare time! Tom would love to hear from you so please do get in touch or start a conversation by commenting on a post!
